Safiyya Bryce aka Funafuji, spins a typically ferocious mutant crossbred of beats that stray far beyond the narrow confines of dubstep to take in dancehall, hip hop, funk, jazz, blues, reggae and just about anything with a fat warm bass line. She began DJing in 2006 and has since gone on to play alongside a host of local DJ's and the highlight playing alongside DJ Spooky - presented by the Pan African Space Station. She also hosts Cape Town's only dubstep gig and her own radio show on Bush Radio.
